You know that's something I've never eaten. I'm in a real rut as far as veggies go;) I've been tempted because they are so beautiful to look at.

Joy: Hello again to you too! I was *really* surprised to see the heart-shaped pattern -- made me think twice about cooking it ;-)

Marnie: I love the look of eggplants as well. There's something about the shape and the depth of the colour that appeals to me (white ones are the exception). Eating them...well... it's always a hit and miss for me. Sometimes they're really bitter and they do have a habit of soaking up a lot of oil :(
