I had a schnoodle in 1979! Got her in a garage for $5 :) Sorry I was just browsing gardening blogs and saw this. I am also a potter in Pleasant Garden NC USA. If by any chance you have any og his hair I would love to make you a piece of hair pottery for free. There really is no catch. You can find me on Earth Things Pottery, Art, and Fine Crafts or email me at earththingpottery@yahoo.com. I am sorry for you loss.
@earththingspottery: Awwwww thank you so much both for your sympathy and the offer of the pottery. It would, indeed, have been a lovely way of remembering him. Unfortunately, we didn't think of keeping any of his hair. Do you do sagger firings to create pieces like this?
@Barking at Rainbows: Thank you. I still remember how patient and tolerant he was on the occasion that my then 6 or 7 year old daughter & friend got him dressed up in a pink tutu, shirt, necklace & sparkly barrette on top of his head....
